Introduction

This Procedure is likely to be only required when you are setting up AwardPro and only if you prefer to have Process charges (engraving) built into your Sports catalogues.

All pre-installed Sports Catalogues have no process charges built in so if you would like to include process charges we have set a separate batch of Sports Catalogue Product Import files with Process Charges built in.

* This re-importing procedure must take place before you have adjusted any mark ups or process charges.

There are three process charges used: Trophy Engraving, Medal Engraving, Perpetual Trophy Engraving. These processes are already built in the system and they have no charge set yet. Don't worry about setting the prices yet we need them to be zero for the import procedure so that the recommended retail price does not over ride the price. Once we have imported the recommended retail price lists we can then go to Processes and adjust the Process price to suit your business.

 Re-Importing Your Sports Catalogues.

1.      Download the Sports Catalogue Import files with Process Charges by clicking this link:

2.      Unzip the files and store in appropriate place.
 

3.      Import the files. Go to Products Module > Import Product Catalogue

To help you remember where you are up to we have created a folder within the Import folder called Done. The idea here is that after you have imported each product import file you drag it into the done folder so you know what is left to do. By the end of the re-import task you will have all files in the done folder.
 

After You have Imported all lists you will:

1.      Go to the Trophy Engraving, Medal Engraving, Perpetual Trophy Engraving processes and change the prices to suit your business

2.      Adjust the Mark Up to suit your business model  if it is not recommended retail (Click Here)

This will set all Sports trophies to the correct price based on your determined price structure.

Adjust Trophy Engraving, Medal Engraving, Perpetual Trophy Engraving processes and change the prices to suit your business.

1.      Go to Products > Process List and find the three processes named Trophy Engraving, Medal Engraving, Perpetual Trophy Engraving
These processes are defaulted to $0.00 and have been imported with the Product files you just imported so now you simply set the price and the trophies get adjusted accordingly.
 

2.      Double click each Process one at a time to open the editor
 

3.      Adjust the price to suit your business (this is Pre-tax pricing)
 

4.      Adjust the Process Type To Suit Your Business.
You will see that the Trophy Engraving Process Type is Engraving-Diamond Drag. You may use Laser Engraving or Sublimation for this process. Simply change the Process Type to suit your model and save.

You are done. You have set the Mark Up and Process charges to your price and all prices in the system will be correct based on your choices.
