Customer Types

The customer type helps to categorize customers into different Primary groups and Secondary groups. All customers have to be part of a primary group but do not have to be part of a secondary group.

The program comes with many per-determined customer types. You can add or remove any of them.

A Customer Type would typically be: Corporate, Sport, Industrial Engraving, Schools.

A secondary group for the primary groups would be:

Corporate – Real Estate, Marketing, Music, Financial companies

Sport – Soccer, Rugby League, Baseball.

When you associate your customers with customer types it allows you to then sort by, group by and market to specific grouping, You could choose to report on all Sports customers or by a secondary group such as soccer.

Customer Type: Drop down menu that is defaulted to ‘All Customer Types’. Drop down to choose from the customer types that you have created. E.g. Sport, Corporate, Industrial etc. Note. Customer types often have “secondry customer types’ If this is the case then you will be prompted to select the secondry type that is related to the Primary type.
